Half Amazigh, half French-Algerian, they grew up between Casablanca and Lyon, carrying an identity that predates both colonial borders and Western gender categories. They studied organic chemistry at the Sorbonne before dropping out to apprentice under a master perfumer in Grasse, then came home to Morocco and built something entirely their own.
